About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Jurnal Sains Teh dan Kina is a national, multidisciplinary, open-access journal that committed to only publishing quality manuscripts (original research, reviews, short communications, case studies, and mini-reviews) that are relevant to various related fields of tea and cinchona science.

Peer Review Process

Research articles listed online will be two stages of the review by an editor and members of the Editorial Board. Decisions will be made as rapidly as possible, and the journal strives to return reviewers comments to authors within two weeks. The editorial board will re-review articles that are accepted pending revision.

Publication Frequency

Jurnal Sains Teh dan Kina is published twice a year (January and July) by Research Institute for Tea and Cinchona.

Publication Fee

Authors are not required to pay a handling fee. Publication of articles in the Jurnal Sains Teh dan Kina is free.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. A Jurnal Sains Teh dan Kina is a national journal published online (e-journal) by Research Institute for Tea and Cinchona, PT. Riset Perkebunan Nusantara.

Journal History

Journal of Tea and Cinchona Science was first known as Research Bulletin of Tea and Cinchona, which was last published in 1994, then changed its name to Tea and Cinchona Research Journal based on the Decree of the Indonesia Planters Association for Research and Development No. 017/95 dated February 27th, 1995. Journal of Tea and Cinchona Research was first published in 1998 and ended in 2019. In 2021 it changed its name to Journal of Tea and Cinchona Science based on Decree 010401/SK/PPTK/I/2021
